Definition of News
For the purposes of this site, "news" is defined as:
- Events involving law or policy creation, or criminal activity
- Weather events that affect a large group of people or are unusual in nature
News stories must include the following: who, what, where, when, and why. A minimum of editorial bias should be present in the presentation of facts.
By creating an account, you agree to the following:
1. I will post news as accurately as possible.,

9. I will not spam, post low-quality or satirical content, advertisements, or otherwise misuse the site.
1. Post news only. Focus on who, what, where, and how. Avoid injecting personal opinions.
2. Avoid duplicate posts. If an event is already covered, use the verify/refute tabs to add additional information.
3. Be respectful. Posts showing interference with first responders will be removed. Users who impede emergency work for the sake of content may be banned.
4. No sale posts, charity drives, fundraising efforts, or promotion of social events.
5. No celebrity or influencer gossip (e.g., "Celebrity A wore X" or "Celebrity B said Y").
6. No targeted harassment, witch hunting, or unrelated personal attacks (e.g., resurfacing old unrelated social media posts to discredit someone).
Violations of these rules may result in account muting or permanent suspension. These rules are subject to updates without prior notice.
AI-Generated Content Policy No AI-generated images, video, or text is to be used. Misrepresentation of such content may lead to removal or suspension.
